This lawsuit is about one thing – fighting the Biden-Harris administration’s obsession with promoting a radical, progressive transgender ideology at every turn.
They sought to dismantle Section 504 by labeling “transgender dysphoria” as a disability, trying to force schools to allow boys to use the girl’s restroom and males to compete in women’s sports.
They attempted to divert taxpayer funds that support children with Down Syndrome, Dyslexia, and Autism to advance a woke agenda, and if Georgia refused to comply, the Biden administration threatened to withhold federal funding for disabled Georgians and take away healthcare options for those covered by Medicaid.
Attorney General Chris Carr, along with 16 other Republican attorneys general, fought back to protect the 504 funding families and students have relied on for decades.
Now, with a conservative administration in the White House, they’re one step closer to removing this gender mandate once and for all, preserving the state’s existing 504 program and ensuring that Georgia’s children with disabilities will continue to receive the resources they need and deserve.
